“We” Mindful Communication (6-Week Virtual Class)
Class Dates & Times: Wednesdays, April 20–May 26 2022, 6:00–7:30 pm
About This Class: This insightful 6 week class is ideal for all levels of mediation. This class will consist of meditation, Dharma talks, group discussion, periods of interactive exercises with mindful speaking and listening.
Our ability to speak wisely is based on our ability to listen fully and deeply to ourselves and others. When we take time to look carefully at how we behave toward ourselves and others, we can see how our words and actions create both workable and un-workable relationships.
Mindfulness in communication with others is a process-oriented way of living with a willingness to engage our life just as it is. Speaking mindfully means that we choose how, when, where, and why to express ourselves with consideration for ourselves and others. You will leave feeling clearer, calmer, more confident and authentic in your communication.
“A statement endowed with five factors is well-spoken, not ill-spoken. It is blameless and unfaulted by knowledgeable people. It is spoken in truth. It is spoken affectionately. It is spoken beneficially. It is spoken with a mind of good-will.”
